Quite simply put – Talking Body is one of the best mashups to be made this year.
Jad Desenchanntee uses vocals from one song and mashes it into the beats and music from another song. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. The trick to making a mashup like this work is the harmonics. Good harmonics in the right key will elevate the vocals to another plane. It takes a real skill to make these mashups work seamlessly and effortlessly.
Mix Tove Lo with the sounds of Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney and you have a perfectly sculptured dance remix. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a fault with this number. You won’t find this track in many places – it’s not currently released so have a listen below. Can anyone guess the name of the track Jad Desenchanntee borrowed from Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney?
